I recently had the pleasure of visiting Blu Rose Art Bistro, and it was a truly enchanting experience. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a creative sanctuary that blends delicious food with a vibrant artistic atmosphere. The moment you walk in, you're surrounded by beautiful works of art, which gives the space a unique and inspiring energy. The menu is as thoughtfully curated as the art on the walls. The service was phenomenal and the waitress/bartender Shae was so attentive and helpful. I’d recommend this spot for any occasion. I thoroughly enjoyed my family birthday dinner at Blu Rose.

I was in D’Ville handling some business, and I was hungry. As I wanted to try somewhere new, I hopped on Yelp and searched what was in the area and stumbled on Blu Rose Art Bistro. Arriving at Blu Rose Art Bistro, I was excited to see that the parking was easy. There is ample street parking as it sits in the middle of the strip so I pulled up, found a park and headed inside. Walking in, when you open the door to Blu Rose Art Bistro, everything is right in front of you. You get to take in the entire location from the front door. The setup is very cute with the bar to the left, tables to the right, and the art room (large party space) in the back right corner. On the night I went, the DJ was set up in the back left corner and was adding the personal touch to the evening. The hostess greeted us and walked us to our seats. The menu at Blu Rose Art Bistro is very straightforward. There are not too many options, but there are enough that you don’t feel stuck and forced to stick to one flavor profile. I decided on a Sweet Tea to drink and 3 Wings for my meal, and added a side of Macaroni and Cheese. Once my order was placed, I sat back and enjoyed the ambiance of the evening. The music was vibrant, and the crowd was engaging. As the food arrived at the table, my eyes became HUGE! Everything looked AMAZING and I was ready to eat! Sweet Tea - One word… BOMB!!!!! Fresh Brewed, Sweet, Southern, and Ice Cold Perfection. Whoever made this tea had love on the brain as they brewed and stirred it. Fried Chicken - Babeeeeeeeeeee. This was some Glory-filled Fried Chicken. I’m talking FLAVORED to perfection, FRIED to perfection, and best of all, meaty on the inside with the smoke coming off the bone as I bit into the wing. These wings were FRESH. The art of wing frying was understood with these wings as they were made with care and flavor variation appreciation… I promise they used Lawry’s. Macaroni and Cheese - made like Momma makes it on Sundays after church. It was cheesy, flavorful, tender, and fresh. It was as if the skillet was made special just for me. I fell in love Blu Rose Art Bistro was truly a great find and a great experience. The pricing was spot on for the quality of food and service that is offered. I will def be back.

This place is such a vibe. There MUST be a legit chef in the kitchen because the food was delicious and seemed extra fancy. They gave us warm cornbread for the table. We got fried green tomatoes and Brussels sprouts appetizers which were outstanding. The entrees were wonderful, including THEEE best mac & cheese. The server was delightful. Enjoyed everything about the place. It will likely become my little spot to take out of town visitors when they come.

I actually enjoyed blu Rose, my first go around. Everything was 10 out of 10. My second visit not so much. They seemed really busy due to large parties, so the food took a really long time to come out. Some of the food was overcooked, and to me personally, the grits were undercooked. The grits shocked me because I was bragging to my family about them from my first visit, only for me to bring them, and the grits are undercooked. I would definitely try them again, but I may try a slower time and not a weekend.

Me and my girls decided to check this place out for ladies night which was a Thursday for love jones/poetry night and the place itself it absolutely adorable. Loved loved loved the atmosphere and food was good and seasoned. Parking and entry are free. Drinks not so strong but we did let the waitress know and she did accommodate the drinks to our liking with a redo and shot on the side. Will def be back for the calm, Comfy, unique vibe feel of the place.

I will start off with saying that this place is a gem. Having visited this establishment on several occasions and always been thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food, I decided to bring a friend visiting from out of town. Regrettably, My friend's order was obviously unsatisfactory. While my own meal was acceptable, it did not live up to the standards I had come to expect, especially since I had ordered the same dish several times in the past. The portion sizes appeared smaller, and the quality was lacking. Specifically, the Po' boy shrimp sandwich was dry, and contained 4 few small pieces of bagged lettuce. The bread was cold. The French fries also had some rotten ends. Despite this, I have always appreciated the pleasant ambiance, the attentive service, and the artwork on display. I intend to return in the future and hope this was merely an isolated incident.
